Our felt supplier verifies that the felt meets ASTM D461-93 Standard
Test Method for Felts.
Its fiber content
is made up of 100 % Invista 6-denier “pentalobal” polyester stable
fiber that exceeds the minimum tensile strength of 750 psi in both
machine direction and cross direction.
This tensile strength is valid for all our various thicknesses 3mm,
4.5mm, and 6mm.
This material proves to be superior felt with multi-lobal
composition for optimum resin carriage and with a high surface
