Five-Star Quality
Every liner we manufacture is sent to Quality Control for inspection.
Any imperfections are corrected immediately.
During inspection, our liner is marked with our company
name, the size of the pipe, and a footage
mark every five feet by an ink-jet printing system (left).
After the inspection is complete, the liner is placed back in
inventory for storage or sent to our Wet-out department to be
impregnated with resin and shipped out
immediately.
QA/QC also inspects the resin during the impregnation process.
Samples are taken in a sequential order and cure times are recorded (with
data logger and hot bath below) to ensure that the catalyst and resin mixture is
consistent throughout the CIPP.
A new addition to our QA/QC is our testing device,
EJA Vantage-10 Universal Materials Tensile tester (right),
made by Thwing-Albert. It provides up to 10kN (2000lbs) of tension and
compression force. This unit is controlled via a serial interface
connection between the tester and any standard PC or laptop. With this
new technology we are able to perform tests on all of our materials
before shipping any CIPP.
We test ASTM standards D-790 & D-638 for fully cured pipe (uncertified) to
reassure our customer of the quality of our liner.
